People Services
The People Services Unit has overall responsibility for the successful integration of Koomarri's quality system throughout the organisation. It also serves as an important basis for the integration of the Finance & Administration Unit, the Employment & Business Services Branch and the Community and Residential Services Branch within Koomarri.
The People Services Unit's other responsibilities include:
- Monitoring Koomarri's compliance in line with various accreditations such as:
- Disability Employment Standards
- Home & Community Care Standards (HACC)
- ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems
- Monitoring Koomarri's further accountability measures such as:
- Baseline Assessment for Disability ACT funded programs
- Financial & Performance reporting & action plans to funding bodies
- EOWA reporting & action plans
- OH&S reporting & action plans
The unit also develops and monitors Koomarri's recruitment, induction and staff appraisal processes. The Unit also promotes the delivery of relevant staff training & development programs based on thorough staff appraisals and meaningful staff performance agreements.
