Koomarri Champions
A Koomarri Champion is a community or business leader who has been identified as someone who can ‘champion’ the Koomarri message of building a richer and more diverse community. Koomarri Champions are leaders in their field and through the partnerships created with them we can work together to promote an inclusive society.
- Koomarri Champions can provide opportunities for work experience or work placements within their organisation or industry for people with a disability.
- Koomarri Champions can help break down the barriers to community involvement for people with a disability by promoting inclusion within their work places.
- Working in partnership, Koomarri and the Champions can raise awareness of and provide education on the importance of people with disabilities as functioning and contributing members of our community.
- Champions can help to open doors and create opportunities for Koomarri and people with a disability.
